James Riccardo, violin, began his study of violin with his father Nicholas at the age of 6 and began playing professionally with the Norfolk Symphony at age 14. He attended the Eastman School of Music and received his degree in performance from the University of Michigan. After three years in the Army as a strolling violinist at the White House, Jim joined the Minnesota Orchestra. He also played with the Winnipeg Symphony and St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. Since moving to Atascadero in 2010, Jim has served as concertmaster of Symphony of the Vines and as a conductor for the San Luis Obispo Chamber Orchestra and the Santa Maria Philharmonic.

Robert Brosseau, violin, attended the New England Conservatory of Music and studied with Louis Krasner and Eric Rosenblith. For six years he played in Germany with the Aachen Symphony Orchestra, the Cologne Radio Symphony, and the Bavarian Radio Orchestra. He moved to Los Angeles and played with the San Diego Symphony, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and the Pasadena Symphony. As a successful studio musician, Robert has recorded numerous sound tracks for movies and now resides in Cambria. Locally he plays with the Opera SLO, the Gilbert & Sullivan orchestra and Symphony of the Vines.

Ron Kiel, violin, spent his childhood in the Dutch West Indies and began playing the violin at the age of 10. Six years later Ron’s family moved back to the Netherlands where he studied at the Utrecht Conservatory. After high school, Ron moved to California and served as the concertmaster of the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra. On the Central Coast, Ron has played in many orchestras including the San Luis Obispo Symphony, Symphony of the Vines and the Santa Maria Philharmonic.

Peter Jandula-Hudson, viola, was born in Poland and emigrated to the US in 1987 to study at Indiana University. He became assistant principal violist with the New Mexico Symphony and after six years, moved to Los Angeles to become a successful studio musician playing on movie scores with composers such as John Williams, James Horner, Hans Zimmer and others. Peter was a member of Megan Mullaly’s band Supreme Music Program, making recordings and touring in the US and abroad. A resident of Cambria, he performs locally with Symphony of the Vines, Opera SLO, and the San Luis Obispo Symphony.

Lynne Oliverius, cello, began her studies of piano at age 5, violin in 4th grade and cello in 6th grade. She earned a bachelors degree in Suzuki music education, studied with Dr. Suzuki in Munich and founded three music schools, a youth symphony and the performing group, Classical Strings in the Midwest. With her move to the Central Coast, she has performed with Symphony of the Vines, the Gilbert & Sullivan productions at Cuesta College, Brillante, at the Crystal Cathedral, violin in the San Luis Obispo Chamber Orchestra and is the pianist at Hope Lutheran Church in Atascadero. Lynne performs at local venues including Halter Ranch, DAOU Vineyards, Villa San-Juliette WineryThe Lido, and Hearst Castle. She maintains a teaching studio and also serves as the Director of Development for the Paso Robles Youth Arts Foundation.
